Building an online store
What a Mutter Labs storefront actually includes — and the one thing it deliberately doesn't do.
Describe a shop the way you'd describe any app — "an online store selling handmade candles, with a product catalog, cart, and checkout" — and Raina builds a real product catalog (with variants like size or color when relevant), inventory tracking with a low-stock indicator, a persistent cart, discount codes, and a genuine checkout flow that creates real order records.
Running the store
A real store needs an owner's view, not just a shopping experience — so a storefront build includes order management: a list of every order with its status, and the ability to move it forward (paid, fulfilled, shipped, cancelled). If your app has customer accounts, customers get their own order history too.
The one deliberate limit: no real payments
There is no live payment processor connected to this platform — no Stripe, no real card charges, nothing PCI-related. Every checkout Raina builds is clearly, visibly labeled as a demo, and "placing an order" simulates a successful purchase so the rest of the app (order history, the admin order list) has real data to work with, without ever moving real money.
Everything else about the store is fully real: browsing, variants, cart, checkout UX, and order management all work exactly like a real store would.
